The cooking techniques your food is prepared by and the flavor you’ll experience whenever you take a bite has been perfected by Ski, Big Poppa’s Owner and Pit Master, over the course of 20 years. Ski’s passion for cooking and barbecuing has been enjoyed by family, friends, and patrons for years.
Big Poppa's began from a small upright smoker, given to Ski as a present from his father-in-law. Cooking for family gatherings at first, grew into catering for block parties and it steamrolled from there! Our food truck made its name vending at a variety of community events such as, car shows, music festivals, and carnivals.
